POWDER COATING
Thermolacquering, also called powder coating, is a surface treatment
which consists of applying an electrostatic pulverization of
powder that is then hot polymerized. The respect of operating
rules enables us to obtain a uniform coat of paint with the
requested colour and an excellent corrosion holding.
The different steps of this treatment
:
- Phosphate degreasing
- Rinsing
- Electrostatic chromatation or brugalization
- Application of the powder with painting guns
- Polymerization by heat
Control means
:
- Test of adhesion with a squaring comb
- Shock test
- Measure of thickness with an Eddy current equipment
- Reflectometer
- Light cabin |
