ANODIZING
Anodizing is a specific surface treatment of aluminium that
protects it from corrosion and improves the
aesthetic aspect.
In our unit we carry out this process by electrolyte with sulphuric
acid at room temperature.
The different steps of this treatment
:
- Degreasing
- Satining
- Rinsing
- Acid Neutralizing
- Rinsing
- Anodizing – coat from 5 to 25 aluminium oxide microns.
- Rinsing
- Either colourless or black electrolytic colouring
- Rinsing
- Rinsing with demineralized water
- Filling, final operation which gives to aluminium its durability
qualities.
Control means
:
- Measure of thickness with an Eddy current equipment
- Dimensions inspection with calibres
- Drop test
- Loss of weight
- Conductimeter
- Photometer
- pHmeter
